So there's this chick in Oregon that likes to ride her bike in a g-string. Nothing else, just a g-string. She even moved to Ashland, Oregon simply because they have lax nudity laws.

She'd like to ride her bike in the 4th of July parade wearing only a hemp g-string and blowing a conch shell. What is this, Lord of the Flies? 

The officials in Ashland have revoked her right to be in the parade if not properly attired. It is a family event, and they don't believe her "act" is family oriented. No kidding.

One city councilman believes she should be able to ride naked in the parade because of our country's foreign policy.... huh? His argument was that it is "an interesting commentary on our society that we're willing to tolerate dead bodies through our aggressive foreign policy from the war, but not healthy, naked bodies."

To the best of my knowledge, our country doesn't host 4th of July parades where we line our kids up to watch dead bodies paraded down the street. In fact, that argument is barely even relevant to the situation. Apples and Oranges.

Jenn Moss, the naked girl, plans to ask the ACLU to help her defend her civil rights to appear naked. I'm sure they will.

Here's the thing... who's going to defend the rights of families? Who really wants their kids to see some naked woman in the 4th of July parade, and have to answer all of the questions kids inevitably ask? Why should someone else have to force parents' hand in talking to their children about the birds and the bees before THEY deem their children are ready? Why can't anything just be innocent fun anymore without this society continuously trying to demonstrate how far away from our founding morals we've become?

And whatever happened to good taste and class?
